THIRD SUPPLEMENTAL EMERGENCY DECLARATION
This is an Emergency Declaration supplement to the Portsmouth Executive Order 2020-1 issued March 16, 2020.
COVID-19 continues to spread globally. For the protection of the health of the people of Rhode Island and the further prevention of the spread of COVID-19, and pursuant to the Rhode Island General Laws and the Town of Portsmouth Emergency Operations Plan, including but not limited to Title 30, Chapter 15 of the General Laws, I do hereby order and direct the following:
- Executive order 2020-2 issued March 23, 2020 is amended to provide that all residents and establishments are directed not to host or attend gatherings of 5 people or more.
- In Executive Order 2020-3, the words “New York State” are deleted and replaced with “another state for non-work-related reasons”.
- Executive Order 2020-01 issued March 16, 2020 and all supplemental orders are extended through April 13, 2020.
