Bunny Miller serves as the paid part-time coordinator for the Coalition.  She has been active with the group for all but two years since its inception in 1988.  She holds a BA in Youth Ministries and has had a life-long involvement with youth, which includes Girl Scout leader, church youth leader, recreation director (PAY), adolescent social worker (SOS), and currently a clerk for the Juvenile Hearing Board.  Ms. Miller’s passion for prevention stems from growing up in an alcoholic family and having a husband whose life was cut short by lung cancer from smoking cigarettes.  She truly believes that it is far better not to begin destructive behaviors than to try to stop them, once addicted.  She is the mother of three and grandmother of six and has lived in Portsmouth since 1976.
